By the time the Liberal Bee Jays reach the final week of the regular season in previous years, the Bee Jays have already received a bid to the National Baseball Congress World Series and are battling to win the league title.

Not this year.

The Bee Jays are currently 12-12 on the regular season and have dropped three of the last four games heading in to tonight’s battle with first-place Hays.

Liberal has two games against the Larks before playing three games against the Dodge City A’s to complete the regular season.

Since their Fourth of July win over Dodge City, the Bee Jays lost to the A’s 10-4, defeated the Colorado Roughriders 16-4, lost to the Game Day Angels 14-4 and lost to the Derby Twins 13-7.
