robert heinrichsULYSSES – Robert June Wayne Heinrichs, 63, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. 

He was born June 24, 1956 to Abe and Virginia (Barkman) Heinrichs in Wolf Point, Mont.

He graduated in 1974 from Ulysses High School and then attended Dodge City Community College for one year. 

He worked as a long-haul truck driver, worked at Kroy Industries for 10 years, and also worked for Lathem Water Service. 

Survivors include three sons: Adam Heinrichs and wife, Angie, Ulysses, James Heinrichs and wife, Brienne, Windsor, Colo., and David Heinrichs, Lawrence; four brothers: Jack Heinrichs and wife, Janet, Emporia, Roger Heinrichs and wife, Gail, Aurora, Colo., Ralph Heinrichs and wife, Kathy, Wichita, and Phillip Heinrichs and wife, Debbie, Beaverton, Ore.; sister, Cindy Cordell and husband, Scott, McPherson; and five grandchildren: Rebecca, Brandon, Grace, Jess, and Augie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Roseann Carter.

• Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at New Beginnings Church (New Life Church) in Ulysses with Pastor Nathan Engelman presiding.
