patricia harperPatricia Ann Harper, age 89, died Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal. 

She was born March 17, 1930 to Arlie and Minnie (Burr) Hatfield in Dodge City.

She married Charles W. Harper Feb. 14, 1948 in Los Angles. He survives. 

She graduated from High School in Freemont, Calif. in 1948. 

Survivors also include sons: Rod and wife, Cindy Harper, Liberal, Brent and wife, LaVonna Harper, Hutchinson, and Craig and wife, Cathy Harper, Liberal; daughter, Paula Harrison, Deltona, Fla.; brother, Larry Hatfield, Portland, Ore.; grandchildren: Dustin (Kathy) Harrison, Melissa (Justin) Shelton, Robin (Jeff) Blasi, Nick (Natalie) Harper, Amy Kitts, Jeremy Kitts, Zac Moon, and Morgan (Ryan) Brown; and great-grandchildren: Ashton Harrison, Derek Danser, Keelan Danser, Dani Danser, Rylee Negra, Brock Shelton, Avery, Burkley and Braxton Blasi, Hadley Harper, Madison Trotter, Hunter, Beckett and Oaklyn Moon, Jovi, Bronx and Journi Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Roselyn Segelken; son-in-law, Wendell Harrison; grandson, Aaron Harrison; and great-grandson, Bronx Brown.

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2020 at the Lone Star Friends Church at 2698 State Hwy 51 in Hugoton, KS with Pastor Gary Damron presiding. 

Burial to follow at the Lone Star Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 at Brenneman-Hornung Family Funeral Home in Liberal. Family will be present to greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Lone Star Friends Church or the Alzheimer’s Foundation, in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
