Norman L. Green, 70, died Monday, March 1, 2026 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.
He was born Sept. 12, 1955 to Stanley and Carrie (Walker) Walker.
After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps, and served for four years as a cook.
He had a passion for cooking and he loved coming up with his own recipes by just mixing and putting together ingredients.
He enjoyed sewing and would make Memorial Bears for his friends and family.
He enjoyed playing games on his phone in his free time. In the past, he loved the big city night life, by attending night clubs.
Survivors include his partner of 42 years, Michael Owens, Liberal; five brothers: Jerry Hurley, Harold Green, Melvin Green, Robert Green, and Marvin Green; sister-in-law, Sherri Hightower; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Greg Green and Charles Green; and sisters, Linda Green and Lavinia Green.
• There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place.
