Tuesday evening, the Rotary Club of Liberal met for their annual picnic at the home of Pat Patrick. Twenty-five members and spouses enjoyed a catered meal of fried chicken and all the fixings prepared by Chef Todd at the Liberal Country Club. Entertainment was provided by local musician Steve Leete who played guitar and sang. President Royce Kitts welcomed everyone and led the prayer before dinner was served. Pat Patrick shared with the group his eclectic hat collection that he has gathered from around the world over the years. Members enjoyed the program and visiting with everyone amongst the beautiful surroundings of the Patrick home. The next regular Rotary meeting will take place Tuesday at noon at the Liberal Country Club. The program for the meeting will be presented by Julie Farber with the Kansas Leadership Center. Anyone interested in joining Rotary is welcome to attend the lunch meeting, price of the meal is only $10.
