Seward County Conservation District

 

The Seward County Agricultural Scholarship Foundation is offering a one-year $1,000 scholarship to any qualified applicant who is seeking a certification in an agricultural field, a bachelor’s degree, or a master’s degree in an agricultural field. 

Applicant, or their family, must be a resident in Seward, Stevens, Haskell or Meade counties in Kansas; or Beaver or Texas counties in Oklahoma.

Applicants must be a full-time student and have completed their second semester by May of 2023 at any institution of higher learning including a trade school, a community college or four-year college. 

Applicants must have and maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average and must be seeking a degree in agriculture or related curriculum.

To apply for this scholarship, applicants can request an application packet from the Seward County Conservation District Office at 2310 N. Kansas Ave. in Liberal or by calling (620) 624-2421 Ext 3.  Application deadline is May 15.
