Seward County Republicans to reorganize

The Seward County Republican Party will be reorganizing Wednesday.

The party’s meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the commission chambers in the Administration Building at 515 N. Washington in Liberal.

“Don’t forget to wear a mask, as it is required in all county buildings,” Seward County GOP Chair Tammy Sutherland-Abbott said.

The offices of chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary will be voted on, and the GOP bylaws state that the chair and vice chair must be of opposite sex.

Along with those offices, the party will appoint committeemen and women in precincts that are not filled.
