A Satanta teen was taken to a Wichita hospital following a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Seward County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 was eastbound on Road 20 just west of Road B or about 10.5 miles west of U.S. Highway 83.

KHP said the pickup drifted into the south ditch, and the driver overcorrected. The Silverado would then cross the centerline and enter the north ditch before overturning. The report said the vehicle came to a stop on its passenger side in a field north of the road.
