keith odonnellKeith Edward O’Donnell 64, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at Protection Valley Manor in Protection after a short illness. 

He was born Oct. 19, 1957 to Junior Edward and Betty Louise (Counts) O’Donnell in Oakdale, Calif. 

He went to Riverbank High School in Riverbank, Calif. and graduated with the Class of 1976. 

He moved to the Southwest Kansas area around 40 years ago and worked many different jobs including mowing yards for several local residents. In the last few years, he worked at Dillon’s, JC Penney’s, and IHOP. 

He enjoyed helping people, bowling, traveling to California to visit family, and building model car kits. 

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Liberal and served as an usher, sang in the choir, and helped with the Pancake Day Soup Lunch and children’s church. 

Survivors include his children, Bradley O’Donnell and Holly O’Donnell; sisters, Gwen Tackett, Modesto, Calif., and Pam Overdevest, Riverbank, Calif.; nephews, Corey Colegrove and Kevin Harless; and niece, Trissy Bailey. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

• Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Liberal, and in Modesto, California at a later date.
