edward cowserROLLA – Edward Daniel Cowser, 71, died Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was born Oct. 6, 1950 to Fred Frank and Jerline Grace (Clair) Cowser.

He married Paula Louise Murray Feb. 13, 1970. She survives. 

He enjoyed hunting with his three girls Bell, Jewel and Gabby, fishing, and keeping up with his yard.  He also enjoyed visiting with everyone and playing jokes with his family and friends.

Survivors also include daughter, Candy Kaye Boyster and husband, James, Mulvane; brothers, Gerald Cowser, Liberal, and Stephen Cowser and wife, Johnny, Rolla; sisters, Wanda Williams, Hugoton, and Margaret Mayo, Rolla; grandchildren, Christopher Boyster, Springdale, Ark., and Danielle Boyster, Mulvane; mother-in-law, Pauline Murray, Hugoton; sister-in-law, Patricia Zellner and husband, Louis, Hugoton; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Freddy Cowser and Robert Cowser.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at First Christian Church in Hugoton, with Pastor Marcus Light presiding.  

Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
