Steven Ray Paris, 59, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born May 26, 1963 to Charlie Ray and Mina Arlene (Blosser) Paris.
He married Janet Ann Bond March 4, 1989. She survives.
After high school, he attended Colby Community College for a year before beginning his career as a cowboy and then later to truck driver for many years.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, team roping, horses, coyote hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors also include his mother; sons, Jace Paris, and Lane Paris and wife, Bobbie; brother, Michael Paris and wife, Kim; sisters, Cherrye Paris, and Jenna Dowler and husband, John; stepbrother, Sean Tyler and wife, Becky; brother-in-law, Kurtis Bond and wife, Tami; sister-in-law, Pennie Bond Rutherford and husband, Kevin Burrel; adopted granddaughter, Willow; 13 nieces and nephews: Sarah, Melanie, Cody, Audrey, Austin, Tripper, Levi, Cade, Rachel, Josalynn, Jaxsen, Aspen, and Hannah; and many other friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and nephew, Stormy.
• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 at the Plains Friends Church in Plains.
Burial will follow at the Plains Cemetery in Plains.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022 at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
