Carolyn Rose Manske, 81, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022 at her home in Garden City.

She was born Jan. 7, 1941 to Fredrick Wilheim and Opal Beatrice (Geary) Manske.

She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, and doing yard work.  

She was a member of the Bible Christian Church. 

She cooked for the Wheatlands Cooperation for many years. 

Survivors include six daughters: Beatrice Ledesma and husband, Jesse, Hutchinson, Sheila Cox and husband, James, Topeka, Connie Huber and husband, Randy, Garden City, Tanya Graham and husband, Randy, Garden City, Lisa Juel and companion, Steven Renick, Garden City, and Kari Halsch and husband, Doug, Houston; son, Robert Betts, Hutchinson; brother, Geary Lynn Manske and wife, Lynn, Belle Vista, Ark.; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Mark Todd Goodwin and Lelyn Paul Betts; three brothers: Freddy, Norman, and Robert Manske; and sisters, Jane Lovell and Virgie Manske.

• Funeral services took place Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 at Bible Christian Church in Garden City, with Pastor Chad Ulrich presiding.  

Burial will take place at the Liberal City Cemetery at later date.
