dollie mae haddockDollie Mae (Watts) Haddock, 88, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022 in Liberal. 

She was born Dec. 4, 1933 to Alva Jacob and Ada Rosella (Maloney) Watts. 

She married James Haddock July 11, 1954. He preceded her in death.

After graduating from high school, she worked and attended business school in Wichita.

She held offices in Baptist Women, WMU, and was a past president of Sweet Adeline’s and Business Women. She also taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir, and served on several church committees. 

Survivors include brother, Alva “Pete”, Yates Center; sister, Florence “Babe,” Parrish, Wichita; children: Sandra (Mike) Watson, Peck, Steve Haddock, Liberal, Kevin (Ruby) Haddock, Logoff, S.C., and Debra (Dan) Busetti, Clearwater; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Violet Hyde; and brothers: Frank Watts, Bernard Watts and Bill Maloney.

• Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022 at Quincy Cemetery in Greenwood County, with Rev. Craig Atherton presiding.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022 at Hornung Family Funeral Home in Liberal.
