Larry Warren Parker, 73, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022.
He was born June 1, 1949 to Edwin and Dorothy (Scott) Parker.
He married Merriloy Duncan April 13, 2007. She preceded him in death.
He served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War.
He was the owner of Larry Parker Roofing for many years.
He was a recovered alcoholic with 49 years sobriety, and as an AA member he was always willing to help anyone that was struggling sobriety journey.
Survivors include sons, Jon Parker and wife, Melissa, Liberal, and Clint Parker and wife, Bambi, Wichita; daughter, Tara Parker, Lansing; six granddaughters: Ashleigh Parker, Hannah Parker, Elizabeth Parker, Temera Parker, Ellie Parker, Izabella Fulton; five grandsons: JonDavid Parker, Tyrique Wilcox, Trevor Parker, Tatten Parker, Brayden, Dulton Stepson, Kenny Judd; caretakers, Bobby Voges and Terri Delay; half-brother, Robert Parker; and half-sister, Kathy Parker.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Madison Parker.
• Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal.
