edna kinserHUGOTON – Edna June (Miller) Kinser, 101, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2022 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.

She was born March 6, 1921 to Marvin and Violet (Beasley) Miller. 

She married Leslie Otis Kinser April 12, 1942. He preceded her in death. 

She was a member of the Bethel Friends Church of Hugoton.

She was a very good seamstress and she enjoyed word search puzzles. 

She was a lifetime resident of Stevens County.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Cox and husband, John, Piedmont, Okla., and Patsy Johnson and husband, Eugene, McPherson; sister, Winfred Vore, Hugoton; four grandchildren: Kristine Wolfe, Troy Cox, Lisa Davis, and Brian Johnson; eight great-grandchildrenL Siobhan, Logan, Kara, Lindy, Emma, Jarin, Alexander and Caleb; and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Nellie Toole.

• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 at Bethel Friends Church with Pastor Roy Bogan presiding. 

Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Stevens County.

A memorial has been established for Gideons, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
