Warren Farmer, 74, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
He was born Feb. 11, 1949 to Alpheus Leon “Pete” and Mava Maxine Farmer.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1968. He continued his education earning an associate’s degree from Hutchinson Community College.
He served with the Kansas National Guard.
He worked his entire life for Grady Industries.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and felt complete when he was in nature.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle everywhere.
Survivors include brother, Vernon (Linda) Farmer, Bel Aire; sister, Emma Jean “E.J.” (Bill) Salley, Bel Aire; three nephews: Brian (Sherii) Farmer, Derby, Kevin (Kristen) Farmer, Fuquay Varina, N.C., and Shawn (Christina) Salley, Las Cruses, N.M.; niece, Shelly (Larry) Salley-Jarrett, Wichita; nine great-grand-nephews and nieces; one great-great grand-niece; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and great-aunt, Susie Farmer.
Warren’s pet dog, Sage, was his companion and therapy for many years.
• There will be a graveside gathering of family and friends this summer at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal.
