GeJUAN MARTIN

ULYSSES – GeJuan Jane Martin, 60, died Monday, May 15, 2023. 

She was born April 17, 1963 to Donald Lee and Kathryn Jane (Bangs) Eddie.

She married Dennis Martin July 31, 1982. He survives. 

She owned and operated GeJuan’s Daycare for 30 years.   

She was very active at Oasis Church, and enjoyed helping with the Kid’s Ministry. 

Survivors also include son, Wes Martin and wife, Courtney; daughter, Melanie Ledesma and husband, Victor; brother, Rodney Eddie and wife, Paula; sister, Floydean Bender and husband, Blaine; four grandchildren: Braylee, McKynlee, Braxton and Presley; and many other family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Tim, Donald and Scott Eddie.

• Funeral services took place Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Oasis Church in Ulysses with Pastor Andy McMillan presiding. 

Burial took place at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses. 

Memorials are suggested to the Kid’s Ministry at Oasis Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS 67880.
