addie watsonAddie Marie Johnson-Watson, 87, died April 27, 2023, in El Paso Texas. 

Addie, affectionately known as "Super Chicken," was born Feb. 14, 1936 to Irene Ross in Lewis (Louis) Johnson Sr. in Clarksdale, Mo.  

She was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Liberal. She loved Jehovah and loved sharing his word. 

She attended the Tulsa public schools in Tulsa, Okla. and went on to become a dietitian, Certified Medication Aide, fabricator, beef grader and cashier.

She loved singing, dancing, traveling, and shopping.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, and had an infectious smile and forgiving spirit. She had a heart full of love and deeply cared for everyone she met.

Survivors include five children: Terry (OK) Hudson, (David) Irene Rainey, Henry Williams, Linda Hudson and Kathy Watson; brother, Lawrence (Jacquline) Johnson; nephew/brother, Earl Scott; 10 grandchildren: Taurus (Stephanie) Hudson, Jesse (Carleniece) Coleman, Lavanjanique Love, Brianica Reynolds, Whitney (Ojvid) Bredland, Murika West,  LaTara West, Niavasha Slade, Jakoby West and Costina Jurca- Moorer; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Watson; three sons: Rudolph Hudson, Larry Hudson and Daniel Hudson; and eight siblings: Howard Ross, Merry Johnson,  Lewis (Louis) Johnson Jr., Elmer Guy Johnson, Richard Johnson, Gladys Johnson- Wilson, Homer (Mae)Johnson, and Betty Johnson-Quinn.

• Visitation for Addie will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home West, at 128 N. Resler Drive in El Paso, Texas.
