LOREN MILLER

Loren Miller, 92, died Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Perryton, Texas. 

He was born May 19, 1930 to Carl and Edna Frohn Miller. 

He married Virginia Irene Bennett Nov. 23, 1950. She preceded him in death.

He served as a Navy Seabee, where he was a heavy machinery operator, building airports and roads in French Morocco and Cuba for four years. 

Survivors include children, Gail Douglas, Perryton, Texas, and Mark Miller and wife, Debbie, Perryton, Texas; sister, Vera Welty and husband, Don, Iowa Fall, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Stanley Miller.

• Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, with Rev. Marlon Sparks presiding. 

Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.
