ISIDRO MURILLO LOPEZ

Isidro Murillo Lopez, 23, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born May 14, 2000 to Jesus Murillo Guzman and Josefina Lopez Guzman.

He married Frania Ascencio Jan. 28, 2023. She survives. 

He worked at the Red Barn Truck Wash. 

He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to his mother-in-law’s home, talking to his mother on the phone, taking walks, and listening to music.

Survivors also include his parents; sisters: Juanita Lopez Guzman, Fatima Murillo Lopez, Sandra Murillo Lopez, Maria Isabelle Murillo Lopez, Beatriz Murillo Lopez, Lourdes Murillo Lopez, Guadalupe Murillo Lopez, Cecilia Murillo Lopez and Rosario Murillo Lopez; and nephew, Leonardo Isaias Guzman Lopez.

• Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023 at Hornung Family Funeral Home at 1212 W. 2nd Street in Liberal. 

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 1510 N. Calhoun Avenue in Liberal.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 at at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal.

Burial will take place in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Mexico.
