Ralph Duane Stoddard, 95, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born on April 27, 1928 to Harry Herbert and Nora Birch (Ferguson) Stoddard.
He married Norma Crawford June 6, 1948. She survives.
He served in the United States Navy.
He was a member of Bethel Friends Church of Hugoton.
He was a Farm Bureau Board member for nine years, Senior Center Board Member for 10 years, and Pioneer Electric Cooperative Board member for 22 years.
Along with being very involved and serving his community, he enjoyed ranching, farming, and dancing.
Survivors also include three children: Roy Stoddard and wife, Debbie, Hugoton, Cynthia Martin and husband, Ron, Hugoton, and Jill Rodriquez and husband, Richard, Castle Rock, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Stoddard; granddaughter, Melissa Estridge; five brothers: Russell, Ted, JD, Harrold and Pete; and four sisters, Nina Morgan, Opal Richardson, Geneva Bruner, and Lavonne Norris.
• Funeral services took place Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 at Hugoton Assembly of God Church in Hugoton.
Burial took place at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.
