CHERYLL MANN

Cheryll Rae Mann, 64, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2023.

She was born Nov. 29, 1958 to Wallace and Shirley (Tatro) Harris. 

She married Gerald W. Mann Sept. 20, 1980. He survives.

She was active in many local ministries, as a missionary, and mentor, touching lives in Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas as well as South Africa. 

She earned an associate’s degree with honors in General Studies from Dodge City Community College. 

Prior to retirement, she was employed with the US Postal Service in Dodge City. 

In spite of her busy schedule, she found time to sew, quilt, making rugs, apiculture, journal, and bake.

Survivors also include her mother; four children: Jeremy (Katie) Mann, El Paso Texas, Sarah (Daniel) Burdash, St. Paul Minn., Joshua (Katelyn), Lake Helen Fla., and Josiah Mann of Fowler KS; five siblings: Ray (Shelly) Harris, Mosinee, Wisc., Lisa (Ross) Schultz, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc., Patty (Brady) Elmhurst, Owatonna, Minn., Samuel Harris (Cheryl), Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc., and Tyrone Harris, Prescott Ariz.; and 10 grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her father.

• Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday 16, 2023 at First Christian Church in Dodge City, with Pastor Coby Janzen oresudubg.

Memorials are suggested to the Crisis Center of Dodge City in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
