WAUNITA FROST

MEADE – Waunita M. Frost, 85, died Sunday, Sept. 17,2023 at Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.

She was born June 21, 1938 to Olland and Dorothy (Lee) Engle. 

She married Alfred Eugene Frost March 6, 1956. He preceded her in death Dec. 29, 2008.  

She was a homemaker and had also worked at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home for several years.

She enjoyed camping, making crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include sons, Chris Frost and wife, Cindy, Meade, and Jeff Frost and wife, Roberta, Lane, Okla.; daughter, Rhonda Weston, Apache, Okla.; brother, Dean Engle, Blackwell, Okla.; sister, Darlene Roberts, Blanchard, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Chuck Weston; four brothers: Leonard, Vernon, Larry and Jack Engle; and three sisters: Vivian Smith, Judy Lowery, and Linda Middleton.

• In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place with private family burial at Graceland Cemetery in Meade, to take place at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
