robert colemanRobert (Bob) Coleman, 82, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020..

He was born Nov. 15, 1937 to William Ross and Anna Marie (Johns) Coleman in Blackwell, Okla.

He married Carol Lea Kelly in 1960. She survives.

He served in the US Navy. 

He later returned to school to obtain his contract plumbers license and attended OSU for his teaching certificate. 

He taught the plumbing program at Pioneer Vo-Tech in Ponca City, Okla. until he went to work for Stewart Plumbing in Dodge City, where he was the job superintendent over the installation of all the mechanicals of a new high school being built in Liberal. When the school was completed he was hired by USD 480 to oversee the mechanicals of the schools.

Survivors also include son, Rusty and wife, Elena, Ponca City, Okla.; daughter, Robyn Burns and husband, Buzz, Ponca City, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William (Bill) Coleman; son, Kelly Coleman; and grandson, Adam Michael Coleman.
