winona robinsWinona Faye Hodges Robins, 88, died Sunday, May 17, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. 

 She was born Dec. 18, 1931 to Raymond Ellis Hodges and Edith Marie Gardner Hodges at the family home near Forgan, Okla. 

She graduated from Forgan High School in 1949 as valedictorian.  She later attended Panhandle A & M for a short time. 

She married Lyndal Dean Robins Aug. 12, 1951 at the Forgan First Methodist Church in Forgan, Okla. He preceded her in death. 

She worked at the Coleman Company in Wichita for six years. 

Upon returning to Beaver County they began farming, ranching and contract pumping operation. She raised her family while working on the family farm and assisting in the contract pumping business.

She could be found driving the tractor, working cattle, driving the wheat truck, cooking for the harvest crew or riding out on her horse to bring in the milk cow.  They enjoyed playing cards and other games with friends, and Memorial Day Weekend was always a special time for gathering at the house.

She was a devout member of the Forgan First Christian Church. 

She was involved in her children’s church and school activities and rarely missed one of her children’s academic, athletic or music activities.

Survivors include three children: Raymond Robins and wife, Cindy, Oklahoma City, Kay Davis and husband, Jeff, Garden City, and Lynnetta Stout and husband, Bill, Forgan, Okla.; grandchildren: Ryan Robins, Reagan Robins McCann, Jessica Stout Reed, Rachel Stout Bostwick and David Stout; great-grandchildren: Ross, Rhett and Reece Robins, Paul and Reed McCann, Rocelyn Faye Reed and Mason Stout; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Leta Mae; and brother, Jerry Ray.

• Graveside services took place Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the Forgan Cemetery in Forgan, Okla. with Wayne Moore presiding.
