wilma bartelHUGOTON – Wilma Kay Bartel, 64, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2020 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.

She was born July 16, 1956 to Martin R. and Helen R. (Reimer) Bartel in Fowler.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Hugoton.  

She was a member of Emmanuel Mennonite Church of Meade. 

Wilma loves to publish and read books and was the owner of book publishing company Salt and Light Book LLC.

Survivors include sister, Ruth Bartel, Hugoton; brothers, Harry Bartel, Hugoton and Richard Bartel, Ulysses; niece, Erin Arnold and husband, PJ; nephew, Clint Bartel and wife, Maggie; great-nieces, Olivia and Charlotte Bartel; great-nephew, Cecil Arnold; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; and brother, Donald George “Don” Bartel.

• Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church in Hugoton. 

Memorial services will also take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Meade.

Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton.
