anita parnellAnita J. Parnell, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020.

She was born Dec. 21, 1932 to Harlan and Eula (Campbell) Munger in Liberal.

She was a graduate of Guymon High School with the Class of 1950. 

She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Parnell & Son "The Door Store" for 18 years. 

She enjoyed playing the piano, playing cards, bowling, working, and visiting with friends.

She also had a love for all dogs. 

She was a member of the Central Christian Church.

Survivors include son, Scott Parnell and wife, Rolisa, Liberal; daughter, Karen Wilson and husband, Mark, Liberal; brother, Darrel Munger, Borger, Texas; grandchildren: Dustin Wilson and wife, Alexandra, Shawnee Mission, Chad Wilson and wife, Jasa, Loveland, Colo., Jesse Wilson, Liberal, Amy Box and husband, Nicholas, Colorado Springs, Adam Parnell, Dodge City, and Austin Parnell and fiancée, Katie, Lafayette, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 at the Central Christian Church with Pastor Chuck Scroggs presiding.

Burial will follow at the Union Center Cemetery near Adams, Okla.

Friends may call 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at Miller Mortuary in Liberal, with the family present from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
