lin goodeHUGOTON – Lindel “Lin” Edgar Goode, 76, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.

He was born Sept. 29, 1944 to Miron Frank and Thelma (Cullers) Goode in Grants Pass, Ore. 

He was owner and operator of Lin Goode and Company, started in 1987 in Hugoton.

He married Betty Topliss Aug. 25, 1999 in Elkhart. She survives.

He was a member of Hugoton Church of Christ and was continually active within his church, as song leader, teacher and in helping others remodeling the church.

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

He also enjoyed fishing, singing, and writing songs.

Survivors also include three sons: Allen Goode and wife, Karen, Darrell Goode and wife, Ashley, and Danny Goode and wife, Traci; daughters, Jolene Hines, and Dianna Miller and husband, Arick; stepsons, Duane Topliss and wife, Chrissy, Hugoton, Leslie Topliss and wife, Angie, Moline; sister, Ellen Lowe and husband, Roger, Watauga, Texas; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ted Goode; and grandson, Chance Topliss.

• Private funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at Hugoton Church of Christ in Hugoton. 

Public burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton.
