dannette mccroskeyDanette Dawn McCroskey, 52, died Friday, April 2, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas.

She was born Feb. 14, 1968 to Herbert and Maurice Wilson in Malvern, Ark.

She married Richard McCroskey Dec. 17, 2009. He survives. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, racing, and karaoke singing. She also liked helping at the fundraisers for Soldiers For Christ.

Survivors also include sisters-in-law, Ronda Salazar (Carlos), and Sheila Keebler (Gil); three nieces: Kala McCroskey, Klynna McCroskey, and Veronica Pena (Jeffery Calderon); three nephews: Micheal McCroskey (Jenny), Sean McCroskey, and Christopher Keebler; three great-nieces: Amaya Cohens, and Elizabeth and Allie Mendez; great-nephew, Ismael Calderon; two sisters; and many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Beverly Olson; fathers-in-law, Monte Olson, and Billy McCroskey; brother-in-law, Larry McCroskey; and great-nieces, Katlyn and Krystal Mendez.

• Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Blue Bonnet Park by the gazebo with Mike Isaacs presiding. 

There will be a short service and then balloons set off in Danette’s memory.
