wesley craigELKHART – Wesley Craig, 77, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at Centennial Healthcare Center in Greeley, Colo. 

He was born April 19, 1944 to Frank and Katherine (Darby) Craig in Denver. 

He married Connie Barnes Aug. 20, 1970. She preceded him in death.

After high school, he served in the Army with one tour in Vietnam as a military policeman.

Following his time in the Army, he moved to Elkhart, where he worked in agriculture. 

He was a member of the Elks Club in Greeley, Colo. and often golfed in his free time.

He later enjoyed traveling with his sister, Janet, and they visited many places. He especially enjoyed traveling to Estes Park and visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, which he did many times with friends and family.

He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, fishing, golfing, and he loved classic cars and trucks. 

Survivors include sons: Preston Craig, Louisville, Colo., Spencer Craig and wife, Mary, Colorado Springs, and Michael Craig and wife, Dawn, Aurora, Colo.; sister, Janet Kurtz; and granddaughter, Ella Craig.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

• Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, with Pastor Keith Davis presiding.
