peggy lambersonPeggy Suzanne Lamberson (Sewell), 59, died Monday, July 12, 2021 at her home in Salina.  

She was born April 7, 1962 to Franklin D. Sewell and Patricia A. Sewell (Burrows) in Ulysses.

She married John David “Dave” Lamberson April 21, 1984. He preceded her in death. 

She graduated from Ulysses High School in 1980. She attended college at Dodge City Community College in Kansas and Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. 

She was a homemaker and loved being there for all of her family. She enjoyed visits with her siblings and their families and she also loved to watch and discuss sports with them. Her favorite teams were the Nebraska cornhuskers and the Kansas City Chiefs.    

Survivors include sons, Jacoby B. Lamberson and wife, Cassandra, and Brock A. Kampling and his father, Chris Kampling; brothers, Jeff Sewell, and Troy Sewell and wife, Roxanne; grandchildren: Nissa, Dante and Korben Lamberson; nephews, Jason Stallings and Joshua Sewell; nieces: Melissa Hampton, Justina Dishman, and Jessica VanSchoelandt; and many other family and friends.          

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Theresa Monkres and Beverly Metcalf; brother-in-Law, Clay Metcalf; niece, Carla Maggard; and her grandparents.

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Church of Christ in Ulysses.  

Burial will be at the Ulysses Cemetery following the funeral service. 

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Robson Funeral Home in Ulysses.
