greg morrisHUGOTON – Gregory Wilson Morris, 71, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. 

He was born Dec. 21, 1949 to Harry C. and Mary Beth (Mann) Morris. 

He married Sherry Moser April 7, 1968. She survives.

He graduated from Hugoton High School in 1967. 

He was a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed fabricating farm equipment and rebuilding wrecked tractors and cat irrigation motors. 

He enjoyed entering his hot rod tractor in tractor pull competitions, and collecting antique cars. 

He was a pilot and enjoyed collecting WWII War Birds.   

Survivors also include daughters, Laurie (Sid) Burrows, and Jamie (Brad) Niehues; son, Gregory Clifton (Stephanie Peña) Morris; three grandchildren: Grant, Morgan, and Madison Niehues; brother, Stephen Morris (Barb); sisters, Jana Loibl (Greg), and Elinor (Joe) Findley; and nieces and nephews: Stephanie, Susan, Sara Beth, Shannon, Bryan, Ginny, Julie, Weston, and Kimberly. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Brett Crawford.

• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Hugoton, with Pastor Eric Mason presiding. The service will also be live streamed on the Garnand Funeral Home Facebook page. 

Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.
