jeanell kulowJeanell Marie Kulow, 79, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 in Liberal.

She was born Jan. 8, 1942 to Joseph and Alma (Jones) Creason in Beaver, Okla. 

She graduated from Liberal High School in 1960. 

She worked as a mail handler at the post office for 25 years. 

She also owned and operated the City Cab Company for many years and worked as an over-the-road owner/operator for almost 10 years.

She was a member of Believers Ministry and loved sharing Jesus with anyone who would listen. 

She was a gifted artist and writer and was able to turn ordinary occurrences into intriguing anecdotes. A prolific writer of prose and poetry, she had been selected for publishing in several national, regional and local anthologies and had won multiple writing awards. 

She was a lover of baseball and the St Louis Cardinals. She also collected stamps, coins and sports memorabilia.

Survivors include three daughters: Catherine Collins and husband, Gary, Liberal, Tammy Parker and husband, Joe, Columbus, Ga., and Sherri Munoz, Columbus, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Creason II; son, Byron Kirk; and Granddaughters, Amanda Graves and Victoria Munoz.
