The day before Father’s Day, Amaria Jones was dancing with her mom in their living room that evening in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, just a few miles from the Lakefront. She was excited and giggling like any typical 13-year-old would be as she was trying to teach her mom a new dance called the Tik Tok.

“I heard a weird noise and something shattered in my face,” said Lawanda Jones, Amaria’s mother. “I turned around and my baby was on the ground holding her neck, reaching out saying. ‘Mom.’

“She was on the ground reaching out like this, holding her neck … the last thought that I have of my baby is her reaching out with blood gushing out her neck,” she continued.

Amaria was the victim of a drive-by shooting, and she died soon after at the hospital. Two boys, 15 and 16, who were sitting on the porch outside, were also wounded during the melee, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Over the Father’s Day weekend, 104 people were shot in Chicago, with 15 of them killed.

On Monday, not one person was marching down the streets, mourning and protesting the gruesome death of a 13-year-old girl who was just beginning life. There were no signs reading “Save our babies,” no chants of “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Black gangstas gotta go.”

Not one business or home was looted or burned to the ground.

She wasn’t the only child killed that weekend – a 3-year-old boy, Mekhi James, was shot and killed while riding in the back of his stepfather’s car Saturday, just hours earlier and only a few blocks away from the Jones’ home. In total, five children were murdered that weekend – just in Chicago.

Monday evening, both mother’s attended a vigil together for their babies. But again, no marchers. No protesters chanting for justice. No concern that Blacks in urban neighborhoods are more likely to face getting shot than getting a speeding ticket.

Where was The Rev. Al Sharpton screeching for equality and justice at Amaria’s funeral?

He never once showed up to grace the families of the murdered children with his presence, but then there were no television camera’s or extortion deals with big corporations paying his airfare and “speaking fees” either. There was no money in these deaths for soulless, corrupt Al.

It’s apparent in Chicago and other major cities with urban neighborhoods of minorities – Baltimore, Detroit, New York City, Minneapolis – their lives don’t matter like George Floyd’s does.

They don’t march for “more” law enforcement in these cesspools of violence, they want to “defund” police. What ignorance.

And, their Democrat-controlled city councils and Democrat governors have instituted the most severe anti-gun laws in the nation. They don’t care if you’re getting shot up nightly by killers, and they deny victims the ability to defend themselves because of draconian gun laws.

That insanity and hypocrisy of the “protesters” and rioters destroys any credibility of their groups like Black Lives Matter or AntiFa and the other radical zealots who just follow like rabid dogs chasing sick rats. It’s called “mob rule.”

In Seattle’s “Summer of Love Festival” there has been (as of July 28) three shot and one killed. But that was barely reported by the media.

“They ignore that a young African-American was killed in the violence,” Dan Gainor of the Media Research Center said July 25. “The chief of police says that there’s rapes and robberies, and, meanwhile, the media are saying, ‘Oh, it is cool.’”

Here are some additional headlines coming out of Father’s Day weekend:

• “At least five shot in downtown Austin, police say”

• “Nine people were shot at a large party in Syracuse”

• “25 shot, 4 killed in violent Father’s Day weekend in Detroit”

• “11 shot and injured in Uptown Minneapolis on Father’s Day”

• “‘This came out of nowhere:’ Shooting of 6 at playground BBQ caps bloody Father’s Day weekend in Philly”

• “In North Carolina, 3 people killed, 6 wounded”

• “NYC’s Murder Rate Skyrockets, Police Commissioner Says System Is Collapsing”

I particularly like this one:

• “Spate of shootings raises fears of a violent summer”

No kidding, Sherlock? I wonder why gun and ammunition sales are through the roof from coast to coast?

In a June 27 report by Bonchie at, “New York City Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said that the city’s criminal justice system is falling apart.

“We cannot keep people safe without keeping bad, dangerous, people off the streets,” Shea said. “You have a criminal justice system that’s imploding. That’s the kindest way to put it.”

Yet, Shea didn’t explain he and the mayor disbanded 600 officers of NYC’s anti-crime unit to other less effective duties. And, NYC has a “no-cash bail system” where they let criminals right back onto the street without posting bail, and many re-offend – some within hours.

The city also is planning on cutting more than $1 billion from the NYC Police Department. It’s just more of the “Defund the Police” insanity from the radical mob

Bonchie put it this way: “In the end, who suffers here? It’s not the rich white liberals waxing poetic in The New York Times, nor the pampered leaders of Black Lives Matter. Rather, it’s the older black woman living in Harlem who’s terrified about what’s going on around her. Or the black man trying to take care of his family who’s now at a greater risk of being shot due to rising gang violence in his neighborhood. Those will be the victims of this movement, and we will never know their names.”

Amaria’s mother, Lawanda, lamented the hypocrisy of the movement, too.

“They talk about the police killing – killing our citizens. They’re killing each other off,” Lawanda said through tears. “Our kids are not safe no more. Period. You can’t sit on your porch. You can’t even be in your own house. You’ll get killed.”

Democrat leaders in these cities cannot and will not help Blacks in these inner neighborhoods, and their support of “Black Lives Matters” will only mean more chaos and more murdered children.

Ironically, the bullet that killed Amaria went directly through a poster on their window that said, “Chicago Lives Matter.”

When are the people in these lawless sess pools going to get fed up with all the funerals?
