larry phillipsGUEST COLUMN, Larry Phillips, Kismet

Joseph “Fidel” O’Biden and his high-stepping, jack-booted thugs erected 8-feet steel fencing around the Capitol, in a “circus show” of phoney fear of “far-right-wing, pro-Trump demonstrators” expected to rally last Saturday.

In an article by Jonathan Weisman and Matthew Rosenberg posted Saturday at www.nytimes.com, the Lame Stream propaganda machine of the socialists was sorely disappointed.

“Sparse Right-Wing Protest of Jan. 6 Arrests Draws Huge Police Response,” screamed the headline by Weisman and Rosenberg.

Seems Nancy Pelosi dictated the protections and, man, did she believe in overreach, especially since she didn’t call for any protections eight months ago at the Jan. 6 protests.

She had, “… newly erected fencing and dump trucks lined end to end guard(ing) the building. Mounted police, absent eight months ago, now stood at the ready,” the New York Times article noted. “Riot shields were stacked at Capitol entrances, and law enforcement from the Capitol region, including the Virginia State Police and the police departments for Fairfax County in Virginia and Prince George’s County in Maryland, arrived with armored cars.

“One hundred National Guard troops from the District of Columbia were also on alert,” Weisman and Rosenberg added.

Wow. Hundreds of officers and 100 additional national guardsmen there to protect an empty Capitol – and a fence around the whole complex.

Where are the federal officers, guardsmen and fencing on our southern border?

Think about that. All the expense to thwart and suppress protests by American citizens in D.C., but nothing spent on preventing an invasion of illegal immigrants on our southern border.

After the Jan. 6 protests and riots, up to 5,200 guardsmen were on duty for months and the fencing stayed up for about five-plus months afterward.

Why is that?

Fake News CNN propagandists got in on the phoney lies Saturday, as well.

“The event was billed in support of nonviolent ‘political prisoners’ who were charged with crimes tied to the January 6 attack; of the more than 600 Capitol riot defendants, only a handful are in jail, according to CNN’s analysis of court records,” claimed  Marshall Cohen and Paul LeBlanc, writing for CNN and posted at www.cnn.com

That’s mis-information, according to another left-wing news source.

“The vast majority of defendants have been released awaiting trial but about 75 are still in custody, according to court documents,” noted Jan Wolfe and David Morgan in their Saturday post at www.reuters.com.

With 500 arrested, and 75 still in custody, where are their constitutional rights to a speedy trial and accesss to the charging evidence – like all the videos that may show exculpatory proof of innocence?

“For the handful of nonviolent rioters who are being detained, federal judges concluded that they were too dangerous to release, saying they might participate in future political violence,” wrote Marshall Cohen and Paul LeBlanc for CNN.

Is 75 a handful?

I don’t care if its only seven – they have constitutional rights that are being abused by the FBI and the Department of Justice – which now are controlled by O’Biden’s partisan thugs.

The reports of the NYTimes, CNN and Reuters continues the lie claiming Pelosi and law enforcement were not warned beforehand of the Jan. 6 plans of protesters.

However, the Washington Post, another propaganda arm of the socialists, reported something different that’s been quietly swept under the smelly rug.

Devlin Barrett and Matt Zapotosky in a Jan. 12 post at www.washingtonpost.com wrote:

“FBI report warned of ‘war’ at Capitol, contradicting claims there was no indication of looming violence (for Jan. 6 protest).”

Seems these Washington Post reporters were citing “an internal document” reviewed by them saying the “FBI office in Virginia issued an explicit warning that extremists were preparing to travel to Washington to commit violence and ‘war,’ according to an internal document … that contradicts a senior official’s declaration the bureau had no intelligence indicating anyone at last week’s demonstrations … planned to do harm.”

Within this article, the journalists called it “A situational information report approved for release the day before (only to law enforcement agencies) the U.S. Capitol riot painted a dire portrait of dangerous plans, including individuals sharing a map of the complex’s tunnels, and possible rally points for would-be conspirators to meet in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and South Carolina and head in groups to Washington.

“The head of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Steven D’Antuono, “claimed the Jan. 5 warning … was a thread on a message board that was not attributable to an individual person,” the reporters wrote, even though they had a Virginia FBI document saying otherwise.

A warning “ … that was not attributable to an individual person?”

Translation: The warning was ignored – probably by the corrupt D.C. FBI agents and informants that were infiltrating the protesters, which proved to be premeditated, as well.

One way the government can prove what the FBI claims is to release all the communications between all the agencies involved before and after Jan. 6, but they continuously ignore Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.  That’s why Judicial Watch has filed suit in federal court.

It’s funny that law enforcement officers and media hucksters outnumbered the Saturday protesters that were supporting the “political prisoners” from Jan. 6.

But it’s sad that more conservatives were hesitant to protest for fear of being labeled and/or arrested as “enemies of the state” because of the previous actions of this corrupt Adminstration.

Hopefully, Americans are figuring out who the real “enemies of the state” are.
