The Redskins again trimmed the lead early in the third quarter, nut Abilene recovered late in the period and extended the lead to 43-30.

The teams combined for 28 free throw attempts in the final quarter, and Abilene put the game out of reach by outscoring the Redskins 21-12, and Liberal fell 64-42.

Chris Robledo led the Redskins with 17 points, and Zayden Martinez had 11.
