Erek Lira threw a three-inning no-hitter against Stanton County in a 15-0 run-rule win.

Landon Martinez also had three RBIs in the win.

The Redskins took advantage of nine hits to go along with seven walks to score 15 runs in three innings.

Liberal faced a stiffer challenge from Elkhart but held on for a 4-2 win.

Liberal scored a run in the first and two in the fifth for a 3-2 lead.

The Redskins added an insurance run in the seventh, but Brooks Kappelmann didn’t allow a run in Elkhart’s final at-bat to secure the 4-2 win.

Zayden Martinez pitched four innings and allowed one run on one hit while walking one and striking out eighth.

Kappelmann allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out six.
