The Lady Saints were tested Wednesday by the Colby Lady Trojans, and they passed with a 3-2 win.
The Lady Saints established a four-point lead midway through the first set and was able to maintain the lead the rest of the way to take a 25-20 win.
But the Lady Saints faltered in the second set while Colby dominated, and the set was tied after a 25-10 Lady Trojan win.
Seward appeared to be back in control in the third set with a 24-20 lead, but the Lady Trojans rallied with six straight points to knock off Seward 26-24.
The fourth set was a battle back and forth, and Colby had a chance to win the game and the match before the Lady Saints finished with three consecutive points for a 26-24 win to tie the match 2-2.
Seward dominated the final set for the win, 15-7.
Kaela Wilson led the Lady Saints with 15 kills, and Dora Filipovic had 13.
