The Liberal Redskins soccer team moved to 5-2 on the season with a 5-1 win over Lamar Thursday at Redskin Field.

The Redskins jumped out to an early lead and had a 2-0 advantage at halftime.

Liberal continued to find the goal in the second half, and despite Lamar finding the net for a goal, the Redskins kept the ball near the Lamar box and added three more goals for a 5-1 win.

Suain Moncaya led the Redskins with three goals for the hat trick. Gio Reyes and Seth Michel each had a goal in the win.

Liberal was slated to play a pair of weekend games in Garden City against Kapaun and Bishop Carroll.
