The Seymour Rogers eighth grade volleyball worked hard against Southwestern Heights. According to Coach Swanson, “They worked as a team and did well working on and off the net.”

Kamilah Delgado and Alizza Castro had multiple strong hits earning many points.

Ariana Ruiz and Amelia Alacron had good runs on serves helping the Apaches keep our scores close at 21-25(L), 25-13(W), 22-25(L), and 17-25(L).

“Our girls have made a lot of gains throughout the season and are looking forward to WAC,” Swanson said.

The seventh graders came away with a marathon win over Southwestern Heights, 3-2.

The Lady Apaches started out slow against the competition but eventually caught up and pushed the first before falling 32-30.
