Liberal hosted Garden City Tuesday at Billy’s Ayr Lanes.
The varsity girls finished the day with 2105 total pinfall earning 4 WAC points.
Terah Head led the team with a 452 series and second overall.
The JV girls finished with 1906 total pinfall and earned all 11 WAC points.
Top three scores all came from Liberal, first place being Alejandra Rios with a 438 series, second being Ashley Munoz with a 436 series, and third being Frida Civis 415 series.
The varsity boys finished the day with 2652 total pinfall and earned 4.5 WAC points.
Cody Bremenkamp finished with a team best 587 series and second overall.
The JV boys collected a total pinfall of 1720 and earned 2 WAC points.
Carlos Campos had a team best 475 series and second best overall.
“I’m pleased with the way our program performed today,” Liberal coach andrew Potter said. “Our JV girls team gave a terrific performance as a team and fed off each other’s success. Our varsity boys team was very competitive and took a step forward at raising the bar. Overall, today was a day we can use as a measuring tool to drive ourselves in effort and performance.”
