Liberal softball saw marked improvement in 2021. After nine seasons without a win in the Western Athletic Conference, the Lady Redskins were able to end the streak with a win over Dodge City and played a first round playoff game to extra innings.

Helping make the transition were two lady Redskins who earned All-WAC honors.

Milly McClure made the All-WAC First Team. McClure eclipsed 100 stolen bases in her high school career even though the 2020 season was canceled. McClure was a solid defender behind the plate as well as a base-running threat.
