Liberal finished sixth out of 10 teams.

“Our girls got some valuable experience, and played some of the best girls in the state,” Liberal coach Bret Irby. “Our highlight of the day came from Junior Katie Classen upsetting the No. 1 girl from Salina South.”

No. 1 Singles — Katie Classen went 2-2

No. 2 Jaciana Rivera went 1-2 scratching her last match due to injury

No. 1 Doubles — Aracely Jurado and Lesley Hernandez went 2-2

No. 2 Doubles — Lanee Harp and Shiya Bhakta went 1-3

 

LHS travels to Garden City Saturday.
