What seemed like an impossibility 18 matches ago has now happened for the Lady Redskins.

After starting the season 0-10, Liberal has clawed their way back to even up their record at 14-14 after sweeping a double dual from Holcomb Thursday in The Big House.

The match was the first of the season for the Lady Redskins in their home gym after a net issue forced the Lady Redskins to play their previous matches at the Liberal Recreation Center.

The lady Redskins took the first match from Holcomb 25-20, 27-25, and the Lady Longhorns put pressure on the Lady Redskins to start the second match by winning the first set 25-18.

But the Lady Redskins responded with a 25-21 win in the second set to force a deciding third set, and the Lady Redskins dominated with a 25-14 win.

The two losses dropped Holcomb to 28-3 while the wins moved Liberal to 14-14.

The Lady Redskins will get another chance to play on their home court against Garden City Tuesday.
