A Liberal woman is in an Amarillo, Texas, hospital following a rollover accident Sunday morning in Beaver County, Okla.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported around 6:20 a.m. Sunday, a 2016 Nissan Altima was northbound on U.S. Highway 83 just south of County Road Hollow E0340 in Beaver County or about eight and a half miles north of Perryton, Texas.
OHP said the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, departed the roadway to the left and rolled three times, coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver, 21-year-old Jessica Valverde of Liberal, was transported by Perryton EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, where she was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries. She was later transferred by Air-Evac to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Valverde was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.
