Jackie Ray Oglesby, 95, died Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal.  

He was born Dec. 10, 1930 to William and Jessie (Martin) Oglesby.

He married Betty Baker June 12, 1952. She preceded him in death.

He was a member of the U.S. Marines and served during the Korean War.

He worked as an inspector for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.

He enjoyed bowling, playing golf, watching WWE Wrestling, and was an avid fan of NASCAR.

He was a member of South Church of God.

Survivors include daughter, Brenda Bressler; granddaughter, Haley Gable; three grandsons: Brandon Bressler (Alyssa), Aron Bressler (Lauren), and Justin Bressler (Kristen); three great-granddaughters: Jenna Bressler, Makenna Bressler, and Karley Bressler; and three great-grandsons: J.J. Weis, Wyatt Bressler, and Hudson Bressler.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dianna Oglesby; and brothers, Bill Oglesby and Ben Oglesby.

• There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.

A family graveside service will take place Monday May 11, 2026 at the Midway Cemetery in Floris, Okla.
