Sandra Jean Eidson, 72, died Tuesday, May 5, 2026.  

She was born Sept. 4, 1953 to Robert and Montie (Swingley) Altland.

She graduated from Liberal High School in 1971.

She worked as a secretary for The Credit Bureau and later worked in the student services department at SCCC, where she also taught classes. 

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include son, Steven Eidson and wife, Brandie (10 grandkids); daughters, Amanda Eidson and husband, Daniel Morales Jr., and Rachel Eidson; brother-in-law, Steven Fosdick; nephews, Robert Fosdick (Lindsay; step nephews Lennox & Jaxon Torres), and Ryan Fosdick; great-Niece, Angelina Fosdick (Trae); great-nephews, Monte Fosdick, and Kenneth Fosdick (Brooke); grandsons, Cephas Lee and Elijah Jesse; and granddaughters, Aaliyah Joy and Ashlyne Karen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Joy Lynn Fosdick.

• There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A family Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at First Church of the Nazarene at 2211 Zinnia Lane in Liberal.
