Karin Johanna (Crose) Welch, 70, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at her home in Hooker, Okla.
She was born Sept. 12, 1954 in Weimar, Germany.
She moved to the United States as a young girl.
She spent much time working and also attending and graduating cosmetology school in 1981.
She managed various restaurants and convenience stores over the years and also worked many years at Seaboard Foods.
She enjoyed being on a bowling league, reading her books, gardening, cooking, shopping and adding to her many collections but most of all she loved her time with family. She loved spending time with her son and daughter, Taylor and Andrea and her grandchildren. She also loved her brothers, and was always talking about one of her many phone calls with one of them or one of her nephews.
She loved keeping up with how everyone was doing, making sure to keep up with all the latest beauty shop talk with her treasured friend, Tara Cordova.
Survivors include son, Taylor Heinson and wife, Andrea; grandson, Matthew Kenney and fiancée, Lena Fortine; granddaughters, Ashten & Mackenzie Kenney; beloved dog, Leo; brothers, Thomas (Kristina) Crose Sr., Chappell, Neb., and Tony (Lisa) Wallace, Stewart, Tenn.; nephews: Tommy (Aislinn) Crose, Sidney, Neb., Clint (Theresa) Crose, Sterling, Colo., Kerry (Tia) Crose, Lodgepole, Neb., and Jason (Samantha) Crose, Chappell, Neb.; great-nieces and great-nephews: Jase, Bryce, London, Addie, Paisley, Emma, Hadley, Jordan, Dion, Treyzen and Zakiya as well as many other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Bedsaul; and adopted father, Everett Crose.
• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024 at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.
Burial will follow at the Atwater Cemetery in Meade.
