Roberta Mae Hatfield, 85, died Oct. 27, 2024 in Grand Junction, Colo. after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

She was born July 28, 1938 in Fowler. 

She was known for her elegance and style, which she carried into her career in the fashion industry.

She graduated from Fowler High School, and her education laid a solid foundation for her successful career.

She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she found spiritual solace and community.

She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and participating in book club. She had a profound love for the outdoors, often seen mowing her lawn with her cherished Zero Turn mower, which reflected her spirited and independent nature.

As an avid pet lover, she found joy in her granddog Gus, her beloved cat Gooey, and many other 4-legged family members.

She embodied a life of class and dedication always prioritizing her family and living life to the fullest.

Survivors include her daughters, Christy Hergert and Lisa Baker; son, Rodger Hatfield; grandchildren: Echo (Corban) Garcia, Ryan Hergert, Natasha Edwards, and Nathan Viegra; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded her in death by her granddaughter, Candice Kline.

• A celebration of life is planned for the spring of 2025, where family and friends can gather to honor Roberta's vibrant life.
