Robert Eugene "Bob" Sloan, 84, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2024 at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield.
He was born July 3, 1940 to John and Donia (Burns) Sloan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He worked for many years as a draftsman, welder, and machinist.
Survivors include his sister, Billie Jean Wriston, Liberal; three nephews: Keith Long, Jim Sloan, and Dale Cole; and four nieces: Patti Sullivan, Betty Sloan, Kristi Long, and Debbie Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Karen Boese and Marilyn Bailey; and brother, Wally Sloan.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal, with Pastor Rex Petty presiding.
Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024 at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
